Our Story

Who is the TR2 Committee?  It was formed by a group of active employees and retirees from AT&T. 

T is used from the stock market symbol for AT&T.

R is used to reflect on the annual AT&T Reunions held locally in the Chicagoland area to fundraise for scholarships.

2 is used as it was the second committee formed in 2012 that its members decided to form this nonprofit to give back to the community thru scholarship with our future leaders in mind.

Anna Horton – Vice President - member since 2015 

What is Education to you?  Education is an exhilarating process as it shapes your mind with critical thinking, organizational skills and promotes creativity.

Larry Smith – Treasurer - member since  2018 

What is Education to you?  Educate yourselves, don’t stop learning even after completing your degree as it will take you to new heights that only gets better as you learn and grow.
